Graphical User Interface Elements


Whenever you open any site in the web browser (i.e. Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox), you will some Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements on it. I have listed out some important elements here.

Window –It is holder for all other elements.  It has 3 buttons on the top right-hand corner.
Minimize – If you click this button, the window will be kept on the task bar.
Maximize – It will make the window to full screen.
Close - It closes the window.

Text Box - In the text box, you can type only one sentence.


Text Area - In the Text Area, you can enter more than one sentence.


Button – When you click on the button, it will take you to another page.




Label – It is a plain text.



Menu


Drop Down - From the drop down menu, you can select any one of the value from the drop down box. For example, in the Country-City drop down, I have selected UAE.

                       


Check Box – You can choose any number of options from the check box. For example in the below options, I have selected Garage, Garden and Office.



Radio Button – You can choose only one option from the given options. For example, I have selected “For Rent” button.


Link – When you click on the link, you will get another page.
